at the top of the hill was this memorial dedicated to the 130,000 who perished during second world war...

wei was like Flash. Super fast. Sorry Danielle, I was not quick enough to stop him from moving to the back of the counter and getting close and personal with the dessert, I mean, lady selling the dessert.
I also believe he violated some health code getting so close to the food without proper protection, like a matching apron.

wei's dream car
wei could not believe his eyes when he came across his dream car! 1950s merc convertible in mint condition, and perfectly matching his clothes. woolala - love at first sight!
Bugatti's birthplace in Molshiem
we did not believe our eyes when we came across Bugatti! This is the location of the original factory in Molshiem. The marque dates back about 100 years! It was a wonderful surprise!
where are we?
tried to get out of Strasbourg but after turns here and there we ended at the train station where we arrived from Zurich! Wei and Vince started doing some research to get us in the right direction. my job was to jaga the bikes...

riding out of Strasbourg
Day 2 - we leave the comfy 2 star Hotel Gutenberg for our ride! Air is chilly in the morning about 21C. Boys are all smiles and excited at what lies ahead (getting lost, going in circles, and trying to make sense of small paper maps, and a not-so-cooperative GPS device)
inside notre dame
using the gorilla, we managed to snap a group shot inside the catherdral. being inside was an amazing feeling. so calming, so humbling.
espresso bar
we took time to explore the city. Strasbourg is considered a big town and all the major brands are there. Lingerie shops are everywhere we go. The French love their undies! We headed into an expresso bar for some coffee, and some posing at the 'bar'. wei ordered a macchiato and was served latte with a straw. case of miscommunication - he did not pronounced it with ze french accent...
